The Gospel According to Jerry Lewis

Johnny Carson died today and that is the passing of a very funny man.

I wasn’t going to post about this until I read the gospel of Jerry Lewis:

“Johnny Carson made an awful lot of people laugh and an awful lot of people happy. I always say that any time a man provides laughter to the masses, he should get eternal life,” comedian Jerry Lewis told FOX News

Whether or not he is joking, I have to point this out because it is a prime example of how many Americans think. I’ll go to heaven if I’m a good person. What makes a good person?

Take the test yourself: Are you a good person?

Let me know what you score. I failed.

    That was my score, too.

    Me too…. a big loser. But you are so correct. Found your blog last week and added you. I’m not nearly as pensive enough as I should be about theology and my spiritualy…but I’m working on it.

    Me = chief of sinners

    0 / 10

  5. Ron Olson, the Terrible Swede Says:

    Hah! I beat all of you! I got 10 out of 10! Zap! Damn Law.

    Didn’t care for the decision theology prayer at the end though.
