Another thing I am intolerant of…

…is giving Jesus a sex-change.

Yes! The Son of God, Jesus of Nazareth has now become the Daughter of God, Judith of Nazareth!

The exact name of the book is Judith Christ Of Nazareth, The Gospels Of The Bible, Corrected To Reflect That Christ Was A Woman, Extracted From The Books Of Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John

Corrected to reflect that Christ was a woman! Corrected!

No agenda there!

Who needs historical accuracy when it stands in the way of your pushy ideology? Who needs an accurate translation when it doesn’t support your political agenda?? It’s a good thing God’s truth bends to our selfish, wanton, perverted desires, isn’t it? How would I be able to read about the Prodigal Daughter if I let God do the writing?!?!

Go to the link above. The reviews on Amazon are an absolute hoot! Most of them are one star, including the following one by a Mr. Beelzebub:

I heartily endorse Judith of Nazareth, and I am proud to say that this book occupies a prominent spot on the bookshelf of my infernal library, down here at Satanic Acres. I encourage everyone to burn those old inaccurate Bibles and update them with this new and improved version, don’t buy into that old myth about some imaginary ‘Jesus’ character, even IF he existed, he isn’t coming back, (NO! NO! NO! He is NOT coming back, NO! Pay NO attention to the Almighty God behind that curtain, he does NOT exist!! He is nothing but an illusion seeking to conFUSE you!)…whew! Worked up a bit of a sweat there folks, sorry but the air conditioning down here never DID work very well, I should order up a Trane unit and see if it helps, eh?

OK, well to sum it all up, ‘Judith of Nazareth’ should be required reading in every classroom on Earth, and I’m sure kids will enjoy it in between mandatory perverted-sexual-practices classes, and the classic Situational Ethics for the 21st Century course (it may be old, but it sure does do the trick in the absence of that God-guy from the public schools, huh?)

Well, time to get back to welcoming the new arrivals, it never ceases to amaze me, even the worst of them want to see those 9/11 hijackers as they twirl around over at my signature restaurant, “Lucifer’s 24/7 Barbeque Pit & Spit”.

See Y’all Soon (I HOPE!!!!)

Best Regards,

Beelzebub, Lucifer, Old Nick, Metastopheles, Etc.
“C’mon down and have a nice eternity, all your friends are HERE!”

Another reviewer noted:

There is no feminine form of the name ‘Jesus’ (or ‘Joshua’). ‘Judith’ is the feminine form of the name ‘Juda’ - or ‘Judas.

This one made me shake my head:

This is the reason in Islam we do not worship our Prophet Muhammed or neither is there any pictures or drawings of him. This was done so that after the Prophets death, no person will try to make him into a God. This is what Christianity is suffering from right now.

Christianity is suffering from that which makes it Christianity? Huh?

There have been quite a few recent comments as the book was highlighted on WorldNet Daily.

The WorldNewDaily article notes the following “highlights” from Judith of Nazareth:

The new version, according to the publisher, revises familiar stories, tranforming the “Prodigal Son” into the “Prodigal Daughter” and the “Lord’s Prayer” into the “Lady’s Prayer.”

A passage compiled from Luke 2, with corresponding verses at the beginning of each sentence, says: “4 And Joseph went to Bethlehem. 5 To be enrolled with Mary, his wife, who was then pregnant. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn child. 21 And her name was chosen to be Judith.”

A passage on the crucifixion, from John 19, says: “17 And She bearing her cross went forth. 18 There they crucified Judith.”

A resurrection passage from Matthew 28 states: “1 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 5 But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Judith who was crucified.” 6 “She is not here; for She is risen.”

Oy! I think I want to go back to clown Eucharists.

WoW! There are hardly words to describe this. Hopefully, the outright foolishness of this book should be enough to keep most anyone from believing such nonsense.

As I have said on other posts, what really bothers me is the sudden attention this is getting. This book was published in 2003, that makes it as old as the Gutenberg Bible in publishing years.. Why has it suddenly splashed on the scene in 2005?

  3. Elle Says:

Maybe because someone who writes for WorldNetDaily finally discovered it?

  4. Simon Says:

how many people do you think actually take the book seriously, though? 2? 3?

  5. Elle Says:

    Probably. Hopefully.
