I’m stunned.

On the murdering of Terri Schiavo:

“She is being starved to death, she is being dehydrated to death. That’s immoral and unnecessary.”

Shock of all shocks - it came from Rev. Jesse Jackson. I didn’t think I’d ever be on the same side of an issue with him.

It’s been 11 days since Terri has had been permitted anything to eat or drink. This is cruel and inhumane. I’m sick with disgust.

I sometimes hope God will have mercy on us as a country, but hope for mercy is slowly turning into a desire to see us get what is rightfully ours. Is that sick of me? I don’t know. We have it coming, that’s for sure. I just don’t want to be around when it gets here.

UPDATE: Jackson is key in changing two of three votes needed for a majority in the Florida legislature to save Terri. Wow. I have to admit that I sneered at the idea of Jackson showing up, but I’m eating my words now. Keep praying.

Yes Elle: Nothing short of a civil war may be needed to resolve the differences between the two factions in this country.

  2. Ma Says:

Not to mention Joe Lieberman, Ralph Nader, and even The Village Voice, who have all come out in support of Terri. This isn’t a red/blue issue anymore.
