I spent all weekend being nice to people. Being nice to people so you can sell them stuff is really exhausting. SO many times I wanted to be far more honest with them than I was. Stupid customer…always being right. I am so mentally exhausted from being nice to people that I don’t know if I can come up with anything intelligent to blog about. That, however, might not be any different than the norm.

How about this: Why is it that certain types (race) of workers are allowed much more liberty to be “far more honest” with the always right customer. I used to work in a place where I could enjoy one co-employee getting away with what would be considered very rude if I were to say it to the customer.

I think generally any type of person who is historically oppressed seems to brandish self-granted rights to beat up on someone whose appearance is similar to the oppressors.
Let’s take women. Vox Day recently posted about British author Amy Charter who is highly offensive, but she is offensive to men, so it’s ok. If a man wrote a book like she did, there would be outcries in all of the western world and Amazon.com would be shamed into not selling the oh-so-creatively titled Why Men Are Crap.
