A few weeks ago, I began receiving installments of Bible readings via email. Reading each of these emails will get me through the Bible in a year. At first I thought it would be a struggle, but I find these emails ending too soon every time. It’s been a long time since I’ve spent much time in parts of Genesis other than the first several chapters and I’ve forgotten how exciting it is. Love, murder, marriage, adultery, sacrifice, deceit, rape, theft, prostitution - all in God’s word! It’s amazing how different my perception is now from the last time I read through it.
