Coming to America

I heard about this story on Glenn Beck this morning. It’s very cool to read, but a story is always better when Glenn tells it.

In Iraq, a 16 year-old orphan befriended the American troops who nicknamed him Johnny. Johnny helped capture insurgents in his town and aided the Americans in avoiding insurgent attacks. When this unit was to be transferred out of Iraq, they were concerned about the welfare of this brave young man, so they called Boys Town to see about getting him to safety in America. Now he is living in Omaha, Nebraska. His first American meal was a McDonald’s hamburger. He wants to get a high school diploma and when he is old enough, he wants to join the US Army. How cool is that?
